Funding to local EMS/Rescue Providers
Please provide funding to local EMS providers whether they volunteer with a local agency or through a funded State or Federal Team. Medical, rescue and fire personnel have to pay for alot of their own training along with purchasing of the equipment that they use. Please provide funding to local EMS providers whether they volunteer with a local agency or through a funded State or Federal Team. Medical, rescue and fire personnel have to pay for alot of their own training along with purchasing of the equipment that they use. It's one thing to be willing to provide our expertise and knowledge when a large scale event occurs, however, to see the MONEY allocated and being spent in beaurocratic black holes that suck up the funding grates on the nerves of the people on the street. In our own town, there is always money being spent to update, remodel or improve communications and the buildings that house such, however you rarely see funding to allow training and equipment to the individuals that respond to the critical event.
